Okay, this weekend I have a show tonight and then I’ve booked the rest of it to just stay home. Will I actually stick to that? Hmm, probably not, but the idea of doing absolutely nothing is always nice.

• Distant is coming to Dante’s on Tuesday, Nov. 24th, with Heavy//Hitter, Torn Open, and Katywentmissing rounding out the four-band lineup.

• Australian favorites Cut Copy are getting behind the decks at REALM PDX on Thursday, Nov. 5th for a special DJ set starting at 9PM.

• Halloween at Dante’s is getting a stacked four-band lineup. Kurt Travis plays Saturday, Oct. 31st, with Mella, Resilia, and one more guest still to be announced.

• Emily Scott Robinson has a Portland stop on the calendar this fall. Catch the Nashville-based songwriter at Mississippi Studios on Monday, Nov. 9th.

• Take a peek behind the curtain at one of Portland’s most iconic venues with the Crystal Ballroom History & Art Tour this Sunday, August 23rd at 10AM. The $20 tour digs into the building’s history, art, and plenty of stories from its more than 100 years on Burnside.

• The Portland Fire take on the Golden State Valkyries at Moda Center on Sunday, August 30th at 4PM. It’s also Hood to Coast Night, so the first 5,000 fans get a collapsible Fire tote.
