I hope everyone had a good weekend! I spent mine working at Edgefield and then planned to catch up on chores... which means the chores are now this week's problem.

Since grocery shopping is on my agenda today, I figured I'd round up a few local U-pick berry farms. If you've been side eyeing the produce section lately, this feels like a pretty good excuse to fill a bucket instead.

One more thing before you start scrolling, I also have tickets to give away for Desi Banks' Your Favorite Cousin Tour at Revolution Hall on Friday, Dec. 11th. Might as well throw your name in the hat while you're here.

JUST ANNOUNCED

• Austin trio The Well heads to High Water Mark Lounge on Wednesday, Oct. 21st, with Pink Fuzz and Death Parade. The band is touring behind its latest album, Death and Consolation.

• REALM PDX adds Bear Grillz to its September lineup with a show on Friday, Sept. 11th. The masked producer is back in Portland for one night.

• South African producer Kyle Watson stops by The Den on Saturday, Oct. 17th. His catalog has racked up millions of streams, with releases on labels like Higher Ground and Realm.

• The Portland Pickles are playoff-bound, with postseason baseball coming to Walker Stadium on Saturday, Aug. 8th. The matchup will be finalized once the regular season wraps up.

U-Pick Season

With all the recent grocery store produce recalls, picking your own berries doesn't sound like a bad idea. Here are a few local U-pick farms where you can stock up while berry season is still in full swing.
