My weekend of no plans was a success, but I did get a little FOMO seeing all the videos from the Hawthorne Street Fair. However, my place desperately needed to be cleaned and grocery shopping was critical. I was down to just sauces in the fridge.

My partner and I are also trying to become wine people, so we’ve started doing Sunday wine nights where we make a fun dinner and try a new bottle and... why does wine taste like that? So far, not a fan. If you have any suggestions, please send them my way because I keep finding ones that make my mouth feel dehydrated lol.

• Nahko and Medicine for the People are celebrating 10 years of HOKA with a full anniversary tour and a newly re-recorded version of the album. The tour stops at Star Theater on Thursday, Nov. 5th.

• After selling out stops on his first U.S. headline tour, bunii is heading back out for the BUNIIVERSITY TOUR. Catch the self-produced artist at Wonder Ballroom on Tuesday, Oct. 27th.

• Pancakes and art are back on the same menu when Pancakes & Booze returns to Hawthorne Theatre on Saturday, Nov. 7th. Expect walls of work from local artists, live music, and, yes, plenty of pancakes.
