Well, here we are at Monday again! There is a whole lot of emo happening in Portland this week. Like... a LOT of emo shows. So if that’s your vibe, congratulations, this is your week.

It’s also Hispanic Heritage Month, so I put together a list of Hispanic-owned restaurants around Portland to check out and support while you’re making your plans.

• A decade later, Disappear Here is getting a full anniversary tour. Bad Suns celebrate 10 years of the album that helped launch their career at Revolution Hall on Saturday, Jan. 30th.

CELEBRATE HISPANIC HERITAGE MONTH, ONE BITE AT A TIME

Hispanic Heritage Month runs through Oct. 15th, so we rounded up Hispanic and Latino-owned restaurants around Portland to celebrate. Tacos, pupusas, ceviche, arepas, mole, we’ve got plenty of places to start.

• Wing Week is back, which means you have seven days to see how many $10 plates of wings you can reasonably eat. More than 100 Portland bars and restaurants are getting in on it from Monday, Sept. 21st through Sunday, Sept. 27th, with plenty of wild flavors to work your way through.

• Roller skating is getting a little darker at Oaks Park this fall. Oh My Goth! Skate Night hits the rink on Saturday, Oct. 24th with post-punk, industrial, dark wave, goth rock, and more from Well & Good Club.
