Somewhere between a dusty record store dream and a Wes Anderson montage lives Skinshape - all groove, no ego. We’re giving away free tickets to the show, so you can float through the funk, dub, psych, and soul in real life.

JUST ANNOUNCED

  • The mead will flow. The horns will raise. The cosplay will be… aggressive. Viking Beer Festival takes over The Lot at Zidell Yards this weekend with two days of chaos. Over 60 craft beers, fire performers, live blacksmithing, and axe throwing. And yes, you can (and should) dress the part. Win tickets!*

  • Justin Martin and Galen are teaming up, which means your serotonin will spike, and the dancefloor might crack open. Get tickets for The Den on September 26.

  • Imagine a garage band time-traveled from 1998, got stuck in a TikTok algorithm, and came back to start a cult. That’s SEGO. Add Social Cinema and you’ve got a night of beautiful noise and unhinged charisma at Holocene on October 7.

  • After too long away, TV On The Radio is returning to the stage. Emotionally explosive and still one of the best live bands out there, don’t miss them at Revolution Hall on October 8.

  • Imagine a cosmic blender filled with hip-hop, funk, glitch, and liquid lightning. That’s Maddy O’Neil. She presses play, and suddenly you’re 3 feet off the ground. Levitate at The Den on December 13.

CATCH THE LAST OF BERRY PICKING SEASON

The berries are bursting, the vibes are immaculate, and somewhere just outside the city, a perfectly sun-warmed peach is waiting to change your life. We made you a field guide to U-Pick farms near Portland - for when you want to flee the grid, crush fruit straight from the source, and feel like the main character in a rustic indie film.

THIS WEEK

🐷 Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs

Tonight @ Mississippi Studios (8PM)

Pigs x7 play like the world’s ending and they’re the ones ending it. Sludge. Screams. Sweat. Bliss. If you’ve got a thing for riffs that feel like demolition, this one’s your church service.

🐦‍⬛ Counting Crows

Tomorrow @ Hayden Homes Amphitheater (6:30PM)

Somewhere in the distance, a harmonica just cried. Counting Crows are back, and it’s time to scream-sing Mr. Jones like you did in your college dorm (or your mom’s Honda Civic).

🐴 Horsegirl

Tomorrow @ Aladdin Theater (8PM)

Horsegirl sounds like the ghosts of '90s indie rock got really into distortion pedals and eyeliner. It’s fuzzed-out, freaky, and cooler than you’ll ever be.

❤️ The Lovetarians

Tomorrow @ Mississippi Studios (7:30PM)

The Lovetarians blend dancefloor energy with radical joy and a wink of glam. It’s part performance, part sermon, all groove.

🌟 Ellise

Tomorrow @ Holocene (7PM)

Ellise is bringing her razor-sharp, bloodstained pop to the stage tonight, all heartbreak, high drama, and glittering doom. Think: Billie meets Halsey in a haunted velvet lounge.
