We know everyone loves to give their opinions on our city, most of whom have never been here. Now we want you to tell us your opinions on Portland. What are the top 5 record stores? Top 5 yoga studios? Top 5 venues? Don’t be a stranger, choose your topic and start yapping!

That being said, Little Stranger is bringing hip-hop, funk, indie, whatever works to Crystal Ballroom — and you could be there for free.*

JUST ANNOUNCED

  • Brent Gunter’s Trade Winds pulls flamenco fire, melodic rock, and cinematic instrumentals into one sweeping live set, backed by a tight ensemble and serious chops. Don’t miss the opportunity to be in the audience!*

  • Melodic hardcore supergroup Fiddlehead is delivering 90s alternative for a 2026 crowd. Get tickets to see them with Narrow Head and others in July.

  • Bill Callahan’s been doing the slow-burn, gravel-voiced thing since his Smog days. Now he’s bringing that stripped-down, deadpan storytelling to Revolution Hall in August.

  • Lynyrd Skynyrd is basically American rock mythology at this point. Get ready to ascend when you hear “Free Bird” live at Cuthbert Amphitheater in September.

  • Get tickets to feel hypnotic and a little otherworldly when Bedouine floats into Polaris Hall in October.

NEIGHBORHOOD GUIDE HUB

Portland’s not one city, it’s like 12 different personalities sharing a group chat. From dive bar Eastside chaos to bougie wine-sipping Northwest, our Neighborhood Guides break down where to eat, drink, wander, and accidentally spend your whole paycheck. Pick your vibe, find your spots, go outside. What neighborhood should we cover next?

There’s been a lot of talk lately about how big corporations aren’t selling us real chocolate anymore. I certainly can’t remember the last time I bought a candy bar at the checkout. But that doesn’t mean there’s no hope for the sweet treat. The Portland Craft Chocolate Festival is back this October to remind us what real chocolate tastes like. 🍫
