97, 98, 83, 84. That's the forecast for the next few days, and honestly, I wish I were writing this from the river instead of my desk. I yearn to be the sunburned ice cream guy from Lilo & Stitch. Since I'm stuck here, I rounded up some of the best places to cool off around Portland.

• Producer and trumpet player Will Magid brings Balkan Bump to The Get Down on Saturday, Sept. 5th. The live project pairs electronic production with brass and global influences.

• WRONG! A F*cked Up Game Show comes to Kickstand Comedy on Saturday, Sept. 5th. Comics compete in a game show built around old tweets, forgotten accounts, and the internet's inability to let anything die.
